Clean Recipes… Meatloaf

OMG… this was so tasty… even with me forgetting to add seasonings to the meatloaf!!! So next time it will be even more amazing!!!

1.2 Lbs Turkey
1 1/2 Cups Organic Marinara
1/2 Cup Diced Peppers/Onions
1/4 Tsp Minced Garlic
1 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO)
1 Egg

1. Dice bell peppers and onion. Sautee veggies in 1 tbsp of EVOO. Add minced garlic and continue sautéing.
2. Combine turkey, 1 cup of the organic marinara (I use Bertolli), sautéed veggies and egg. You will want to add your seasonings of choice at this time… don’t have a brain fart like I did and forget the seasonings altogether.
3. Once the ingredients are combined, place into a loaf pan and form.
4. Cook meatloaf for 45 mins on 375 degrees. About 30 minutes into the cooking time, take the meatloaf out and pour the remaining marinara over the top of the meatloaf. Continue cooking for the remaining 15 minutes.
5. Enjoy!!!

Even with forgetting the seasonings, I definitely enjoyed this clean meatloaf!!! Paired with the steamed veggies made it absolutely delicious!!!
